Hiya, Skyline... I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on my MacBook Pro 17" (Don't tell anyone.) Although I am excited to have the new drivers from Apple, too, you can still install it and use almost all of the hardware on your Mac Pro. (The Win Vista drivers provide most of what you're looking for.)

Do you use the snow leopard or leopard install disk for the drivers? On apple discussion all kinds of users having issues when installing window 7 but if you say that it works can you do a video please before I do it

I found out tonight that my mac pro will not be supported by the new bootcamp. I ran the64 bit drivers off of the snow leopard cd and it seems to work ok now, no issues in device manager.

Wow I didn't know that, I thought all Mac's will get this update, I will look into it and see if my Mac Pro will be affected and if you said W7 is running fine when you pop in snow leopard then I might give it a try this weekend when i have more time

Your welcome man, I hope you will enjoy it, it's my way in saying thanks for helping me out and plus I our company had extra's laying around after we installed it on all of our company computers but anyways when are you going to do a video on installing it? I already installed it on my Mac Pro but anyways if you end up not liking it sale it and make money off of it but it's my gift to you and thank again in helping me out later man now get on TF2 so I can kill you and get owned

Thanks again Mike, I really do appreciate you giving me W7 Ultimate, I won't be selling it no way i'm keeping it and put it in good use, I'm waiting for Apple to update their bootcamp drivers before I install W7 on my Mac Pro i'm not in any rush to do it right away but I will do a video installing it, Game on TF2 just PM me when your going to be on and again thanks for W7 Mike

Man, if you liked Vista you will love 7. I like the way you think though, might as well have it all.

You will find windows 7 is way better than vista.
