IFAW's Emergency Relief team has set up an emergency shelter in Andhuc, Texas to deal with animals affected by Hurricane Ike.

i'm very glad that such organisations exist, but at the same time i'm saddended by the fact that they have to exist at all. if everyone would love and cherish their pets then there would be no need for such organisations.
