Great footage! I really wish I could've been there to see the magestic ORIGINAL Sound Factory before it was ruined and transformed into another generic bottle-service meat-market. There needs to be more PRE '95 SF videos like this one posted. Looking at most of the other vids which are '98 and later the place looks like some tacky thing out of 'Night at the Roxbury.'

THANK YOU so much for uploading this, The GREATEST TIMES of my Life. There is NOTHING out in NYC this FANTASTIC!!! This time has come and gone and today it's cluttered - up with SAD androgyny and meaningless wanna - be's ( To lost to realize they are NOT worthy ), To follow in our footsteps.

his is just great! Gotta love YOUtube !!--- Sound Factory , 1993... WOW.. I remember ( though bit of a haze) it so well.. This is when, I feel Junior Vasquez was at the peek of his career.. When he was hot, HE WAS F"ING ON all the way -- He had the ability to take us all in the trancy zone that so few DJ's can even come close to doing..
Track at :53 - 1:01 is a strange combo of Janet & Luther's "Best Things in Life Are Free" (Morales Mix) and Big Kahuna's mix of "You Used to Hold Me" -- not a live mash-up by Junior, but rather created by a blending of the music playing over the dancefloor footage & the interview clips... As for 1:22 -- no clue -- any suggestions?
