we debate how horrible these terrorists were treated at git mo and Abu Griab Have we forgotten who were dealing with. These animals killed three thousand Americans on Nine Eleven. Next time we want to judge our service men and women for their actions we should consider who were talking about and if these same people had their way wed been living under sharia law. And wouldn't have the freedom to debate how horrible they were treated.

I agree with your assestment of Smirconish, but the notion of whether torture produced results or not is mute. It is like debating about abortion, but the fact is we abide by Roe v. Wade. Torture occured, torture is illegal, investigation, prosecution.

I dont agree with Smirconish on this point. However.....
just to be fair, he is not a conservative. He thinks we should legalize pot, he thinks being gay is not a choice, thinks we should investigate global warming because it may have merit, and thinks we should proceed with stem cell research.
And he voted for Obama.
He isnt a liberal either mind you, but he isnt just another Republican talking head.

Smerconish is such a scumbag. Well, that or a complete idiot. The lies of the "War on Terror" are too numerous to list but the gov. told us they only waterboarded one guy. Then it was 3 guys but only a few times. Now it's 3 guys over 250 times. I get the feeling that his wife screws around on him a lot and his whole life functions via denial. I guess you should expect it to spill over into his political observations.
