Neither Joe the Plumber (Jebus, not hardly in any case) nor Sarah Paling have a stinking clue about what MEET JOHN DOE was about, and they never will, no matter how much they invoke it in their prattle.
Not even the Koch Brothers, who are direct descendants of D.B. Norton . . . I'll stop there and let others either fill in the narrative or continue to be fools.

The planned manipulation of the popular vote is exactly what the Republicans and Tea Party have orchestrated, for the purposes of acquiring power for the richest of the rich. Precisely just as this movie shows.

@clarisd : A note of hope: everything happens in cycles, and it really is always darkest just before the dawn. We tend to try to imitate what we see in the movies, and SOMETIMES that's a good thing. Something good and something huge IS happening. Rejoice in the anticipation of it, envision it, and make it yours. ;])

@clarisd I hope the truth movement is making them shake in their boots

The way a man wore his hat said everything about him back then.
I love how the leftists think they know how conspiratorial the right is...when the truth is the real manipulators are those on the left. All the folks who believe the propaganda and lies fed to them throughout their lives by the mass media, their schools, and even some of their religious leaders (if they have one) who really can't think for themselves. They can't honestly listen to the other side with an open mind...it is sad because it is leading us to tyranny

@JanineC4 Not about left v. right. It's top 1% v. the rest of us. Question the tyranny of capital with your open mind.
