As talks aimed at ending the gas dispute between Russia and Ukraine broke down in Brussels, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin accused the government in Kiev of deliberately plotting to block supplies of Russian gas to Europe.

Only Europeans who can truly think for themselves and can wade through the ridiculous amount of bullshit and half truth your media put out can see what is going on in the world.The same thing happens here in the States but nowhere near as bad as it is in Europe.

Well don't take this the wrong way either.But I would expect that type of comment from an European you see your News media(the BBC in this case) is run by the government who relies heavily on Russian resources(like gas,timber etc) to keep its economy going.

And because Russia does not like Israel they're bad according to your media.You see?

The surprising Achilles' heel of Gazprom is that it produces only about 550 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas—just enough to supply its own domestic market. It relies on cheap imports from Central Asia to meet the majority of its other commitments to customers in Europe, amounting to nearly 80bcm. And since only Gazprom's foreign customers pay full market value, it's the company's exports which make up the bulk of Gazprom's revenues—$21 billion for the second quarter of 2007 alone.
