#15 Lace Duster, Vogue Knitting Holiday 2008

Lisa Hoffman designed this lace duster with Ultramerino 4 and Silk Mohair Glitter, both from Artyarns. The pattern of cables and lace accommodates the transition to a heavier-weight yarn in the bodice by moving neatly from a 5-stitch to a 3-stitch cable and continuing the columns of yarn overs from the diamond lace pattern. The scallops at the lower edges form the flowing bell sleeves. The ribbed collar and buttoned bodice finish the look for day-into-evening wear. Featured in Vogue Knitting Holiday 2008.
