Okay just because the trolling started:
1) I'm native, unlike most other versions that I've seen around.
2) "Der" because. Germany is male in Hetalia, and if it was the nation, not the nation-tan, there would be no article.

Some other people I just don't get and doubt that they are German where they claim to be. Anyway, enjoy~

ok maybe u dont know hetalia is a show that categorizes most nations that were involved in ww2 and ww1, every nation is a person and every person has many steryotypes of that nation

it has some pretty smart humor and altough every character is a steryotype non of em are in a harmful manner, it makes u wish the world was like that

and also the german guy is possibly the most positive german character iv ever seen, it is everything but the typical nazi cliche,
