My town is bringing pole exercise to the public for the first time. I was curious and found your amazing video. Did this type of exercise really strengthen/tone your legs, abs etc ?

@SerenityKitteh I started with my 1st pole class in the summer of '09 and kinda got hooked after that. I was a stay at home mom of three boys when I started with no formal training in dance or gymnastics...I basically started with a blank slate. I've developed everything over the last 2 plus years. I never expected to be able to do things I can do now....It's amazing to me. :)

@delymorgan YAY!!! You should definitely give it a try! Remember...everything is awkward at first. It gets easier as you get more comfortable and stronger with the moves. :) No...I wan't flexible before I started! I actually didn't get my first split til I was about 33 and I had been doing pole for about a year. It definitely goes to show that we are capable of so much more than we think we are. ;)
