well ii there is a problem you can take it backnand exchange it for a new one. as for the white line, that happenes on all LCD tvs

That white light you're seeing on the bottom left is what's known as backlight bleeding, where a section of the LCD's backlight is seeping through the screen. This is, in fact, a common issue on most LCD TVs, although it varies in severity from one to the next.

@FilmableReality Thank you so much for letting me know. It's just that the first one I gotten from them, it did not do that, it just had a bad pixel in it, but I just gotten a new Panasonic viera TC-L32X2 from Aarons, and it works perfect. I like it much better. Has no problems. I know not to get the Philips again. Thank you for a good comment.

but my other tv like this one did not have that white showing on the bottom. This one does, but anyway I am taking it back and getting a 40inch magnavox 1080P60HZ LCD TV for $59.99 + tax and service plus, at a total of $71.42 per month. The full price for this tv is at cash price is $899.00 but I am sure it will be much more since it will be brand new. I hope that magnavox is a good tv. maybe you know something about them. Thanks.
