  • @Arreffone No shin pads means injuries, means bad performance in a fight. Everybody trains with shin pads on, except people who can't afford them.

Endurance training is something you'll have done well before a fight, when any injuries you might sustain will have had time to heal. Besides, it may not be legal to clinch for these guys. When you're going to fight normal kickboxing rules, it's almost pointless to train clinching.

  • I used to spar like that til I trained in thailand. Take off those shin guards, rotate ur hips, clinch more and drop the fear. U have to get hit hard and feel it in order to perform well in a fight. Good luck guys!

  • Tal vez tengan razón, pero para las practicas y combates técnicos estoy en contra de las espinilleras. Creo el cuerpo debe acostumbrarse a recibir golpes

  • The fighter with the red shorts should really use that back kick to counter the other guys roundhouse.

  • @MrBeefcake290 Exactly. Hit everything hard EXCEPT your sparring partner.

  • @Kendamu No shit, its easy to become an expert after you do about a half hour of studying on wikipedia, its so much different when you actually step into a ring.

  • @IamWr4th Agreed. Too many meatheads try and beat up their sparring partner, but the point isn't to beat them up, but to land techniques and try new techniques.

  • At 0:56, the guy in white should not have tried to catch the low kick. That is a very bad idea.

  • my spar session earlier ended with me getting kneed to the balls, lesson of the night...make sure who your sparring knows what hes doing.

  • @TheBagellord kick with your shin is MT lesson nr 1

  • great spar guys

  • I keep watching this video and all i have to say is, this is the way partners are suppose to spar. You're not suppose to try to beat the crap out of your training partner, you're suppose to sharpen each other's technique so you both can grow. My trainer fought in lumpinee and held a record of 11-2 in thailand. This is the way you're suppose to spar with your partner.
