AARP isn't comfortable listening to its members, but pretends to represent their interests

  • If you are not a liberal at age 20 you have no heart. If you are not a conservative by age 40 you have no brain… Winston Churchill.

  • Remember AARP was started by an insurance agent/company to originally sell more insurance to seniors not to lobby for seniors whether for health care or any other senior issue. Its all about the premiums (money) not about representation about what is best for seniors.

  • what a fucking bitch

  • @BarryDead Then sir, I have no heart :)

  • @KeepAmericaFreedom.. We have been doing that for a year, ever since we found out how far=left they are.

  • Want to get back at AARP?? When they send you their junk mail trying to get you to sign up, don't throw it away. Just write them a note on it telling them what you think of them, and drop it in the nearest mailbox. They have to pay for the return postage on all of the sign-up cards that come back to them.

    Try it, it's great fun!!

  • Eventually organizations become so big that they then only bow down to profit. Especially when they think they can dupe their members or customers. It seems like all the big organizations representing the key interests of Americans has been co-opted by the government and wealthy elites who rule this world.

  • Dropped AARP membership after one year. Totally worthless and they don't represent the dues paying members. Discounts no one honors and coupons for stuff no one uses. Why bother?

  • Very useful information. I am very interested. thanks boss...

  • @reformcongress The tides will shift just as easy as they have in the past... This is just a temporary circumstance. Obama will win in 2012 by healthy margins and the democratic party will gain a little more footing in congress and state/local govt. Hopefully more people will have the brains to look into third parties in the future than they have in the past. Probably not though...

  • NOW, if you take all the "gov/dept" CAFR REPORTS that prove they are the majority share holder of the FORTUNE500, this SCAM starts to make sense.

The US gov is a corporation, that owns the other crony corporations, and is only interested in it's profits...."health care reform" that forces you to pay the corporations makes complete sense when you understand IT'S A SCAM.

Just googl your fave "state/city/dept", and see the CAFR REPORT.. the US is not America!!
