That would require you to do a backflip, then stop rotating, turn around 180º in mid-air, then do another back flip from there, then land it...

The person would be facing backwards to do the backflip right? Which means that after he's done the backflip and in the air, he's facing the direction where he was standing to take-off. So if he was going to do a gainer from the top of where he jumped, it would mean he would have jumped off the other side of the thing because he was already facing the wrong way. So after the backflip, he'd just go into the gainer.

Alright I'll actually explain:

A backflip implies that you land either on the exact same spot or behind the spot you landed on after doing a flip, this implies that you'd be moving backwards in mid-air...

So from there, since you're still moving backwards in mid air, you'd have to turn around 180º then do a flip for that to be constituted as a "gainer", technically speaking...

But anywho, everything you said was hypocritical, since you just did the exact same thing...
