Joe Bonamassa JBF3 Germanium Fuzz Face thru a 68 Plexi and 71 Metal Panel. Fender Strat into JBF3 - 10' of George L's into amp - Marshall "Cane" 4x12. The JBF3 sounds very good, fat, warm, with a round top end, most useful new production fuzz I have played in a very long time. Texas Tone Blog www.doug-morrison.com

  • Clean setting on a Fuzz? Rubish.

  • @Scrappy1138 It is the Truth! I will post a live shot in the studio video soon. Old Marshall amps produce a lot of different tones and using pedals as filters to EQ clean amps is common. EP pre and Tube Screamer pedals are used that way all the time.

  • This is by far one of the single best gear demos I have ever watched, and I have watched HUNDREDS of them. Great production, even better tone. Great use of text. It is just wonderful. Thank you so much for creating this and posting it. I do think I would like to own a JBF, and this ViD has gon a long way to helping me make up my mind.

  • @XMathis Thanks! Awesome Glad You Dig It!

  • What's the difference between this fuzz and any other fuzz face with germanium transistors?

  • It's the best Fuzz. Organic and creamy germanium tone. The mine serial number is 700 of 1000 from december of 2011.

  • Great sounding Fuzz! Very "creamy"and nice clean tones as well!

  • I got mine the other day. All I have to say is If you like vintage fuzz faces and want one that is amazing at any volume level on the guitar. It sounds soooooo good to leave the Fuzz on full and back off the treble humbucker to about 6 or the neck to about 4-6. It makes it punchy and adds attack and at full blast its a little spitty monster. Its not like the cheap silicone transistors as far as break up. Its very warm and it makes the Neck humbucker butter in your hands. Get one fast.

  • @Scrappy1138 I read that good fuzz circuits can produce some of the best shimmering clean tones. Roger Mayer or one of the BIG builders said that in a newer Guitar Player Magazing dedicated to fuzz.
