I feel like there's WAAAAY too much sliding going on from the male part in this performance. His tone quality is great, but I was super distracted by all the sliding and scooping. The female was outsung by him, hands down. There were parts when I couldn't even tell if she was singing. Also, on the very last "lover", when it goes up to a G on the second syllable, there was a total lack of control and it pretty much turned into shouting. That note should feel like a caress, not a slap in the face.
