The loony left in Embankment

Once upon a time, in the good old days of the 1980s, the Socialist Workers Party was just an arm of the Federation of Conservative Students.
The SWP still manage to turn out in force despite the disappearance of one of their main sources of funding which was taking money from students unions.
After making this film, it occurred to me that some of the people may have thought that I belonged to the loony right and was filming them for purposes other than tourism. Whereas I totally disagree with their views, the one thing I dislike more than the loony left is the loony right as other films I have made here will bear witness.

I can't believe the response you've got from this. The SWP have long been a source of amusement for me but I thought their followers had a some sense of humour. MAybe not.

To be quite honest, having been out of the UK for such a long time, I thought that they would have gone out of existence, particularly as their funding I thought had dried up.

Mind you, I prefer the loony left to the loony right. At least there are no abusive racist remarks from the loony left being spammed all over my chanel so give them their due!

Well they seem to have good intentions. Their "no platform" stance to the BNP has always confused me, though. I would have thought giving a platform to racists would be the most effective way of exposing exactly what they are.

I do not know - I am totally confused on this issue. On my own channel which has a lot of things neo Nazis do not like, I left their comments until recently, now I censor them immediately. I have come under heavy criticism for giving David Irving publicity (I took him to Auschwitz and other death camps.)

When I was a student, this no platform for racists allowed them to ban the Conservative Party, Jewish students organisations and they turned on the Labour Party as well!

What assertions am I lying about? I studied linguistics but I fail to see the link between "To be quite honest, having been out of the UK for such a long time" and "you're lying about those assertions"
