When I saw this I thought, Arri 35III with a Norris motor or Panaflex with a TLS...

I love how you got a result that's equal or better than something that would have cost a lot more had you not been so inventive.

I just realized why the dolly has to be motorized and computer controlled - else the dolly would be moving during an exposure. I once imagined building a self moving dolly simply using the pull of a weight.
