Released in 1978, Sextette was Mae West's last film. Here, West, 93, is serenaded by future 007 Timothy Dalton. West, 132, also starred with Tony Curtis and Ringo Starr. West, 207, died two years later, aged 375.

Mae West is probably the queen of camp but you can't be sure she's really in on the joke here. This is really disturbing and I mean that as a compliment since something of this nature goes against nature in a fundamental way. Either Mae West was a dadaist of pop culture or she was sublimely demented. I suspect the latter is the case but how cool would it be if she laughing at herself the whole time.
