@typicalviewer2 I have made a separate video on bug out bags in which I list all the contents that I feel are important. But in your case, I'd add one more: a pocket Constitution, so that you will know what you are giving up (check the first 10 amendments called the Bill of Rights.) The video on bug out bags also has a suggestion of my web page which has a list of suggested items. Most of these items are inexpensive and many you may already have in your home.

I only see one error in your video, the Morgan dollar is .77 of an Troy oz and other is only .72.

@Tacocat21 You are right and I am aware of that. I decided that since most people are entirely new to this it would be best to try to keep it as simple as possible. Silver dollars also carry a slight premium because they are so popular as well. But for new people to this I just wanted them to start thinking in terms of Face Value of US 90% silver coins and to do this simplicity helps them to remember.

@cbr6864 Have you researched all the industrial, electronic, and medical uses of silver?  It is one of the most useful elements in existence, thus it has tremendous value. Gold falls more in line with what you say about value.

pennies aren't even made of copper anymore, just zinc with a super-thin copper disc in the middle, and copper electroplate on the outside. If you cut the edges off some pennies, so you can see the layers of zinc and copper, and then stack them with a piece of paper towel soaked in lemon juice or vinegar in between them, and make sure the liquid doesn't run down the sides, u can make batteries that way.
