Whenever you hear someone other than Joe sing this song, it just sounds really bad. No-one else had the chops to pull off this tune. There's a tribute to Joe in which Groehl, Springsteen, Costello and one other guy tries do to do London Calling, and you see what I mean.

sweet ass bassline...a bassline that takes all up and coming bass players to that next level...i know...i've taught it to many and seen kids take off from there...oh and just a perfect bad ass tune on every level...pure bliss. :)
