Sorry about the lack of audio - the Ramones and Van Halen apparently don't wish to have their music played so You Tube was forced to delete all the audio from the clip. I'll try and post something without music so you can at least see the video.

  • @TheBrewskiBaby They do more productive work at the fire house than you think. They spend time checking the trucks, cleaning the station and even teaching fire safety to younger children. Volunteer is more for the towns that run 1-3 calls a day and don't have much intense calls.

  • Fire fighters in Madison make 60K right off the bat and when they aren't away from the job (most of their lifes) they are lying around, sleeping and farting in the beds at work.

    We need to go back to the days when firefighting was a volunteer job.

  • Congrats to these men and women. I'm a prod wisconsin native and look forward to being on this fire department!

  • Great video. A sad part is noticing how overweight so many firefighters are these days. I am not knocking them but the leading cause of LODD's are still heart attacks. Its a rough job and you need to stay fit for it.
