  • Nice video, nice solid product. But could not follow what you were trying to explain here. And why are you controlling the valves manually, and that too no and then...

    Thanks & Love,

    kris.

  • @krisachar: it is a refrigeration compressor made by Dorin (Italy). They wanted to show the versatility of the compressor working on wide range of frequencies (thus wide range of power output). Normally refrigeration compressors are not that versatile because of oiling problems. Also they showed the stability of it, almost zero vibrations (coin on compressor). The valves are manual, standard on refrigeration compressor.

  • We have used Dorin with FrigoKimo Inverters since late 1999 and they are still running.

The new generation of Dorin HI are built for frequenze regulation. And they works great combined in a twin with a regular H in the other end, put in a capacity unloader on the H and you got a really wide range.. :)

  • thats amazing, always liked Dorin ;)

  • Does it cause any problems to run a compressor near 100hz?

  • Thanks very much for all the information & for replying very promptly...

    Thanks & Love,

    kris.
