I want to share this video also to show that the yellow ting is optical effect, when view different angles, plus there are so many variable involved in this yellow ting, that when I put the grey bars, I believe maybe there were a problem at the beginning but not anymore. Feel free to make new purchase if you want to get an iMac for sure, because there is no yellow ting. Hope this video could help others understand that the yellow ting is an optical effect and apple.

  • dude mine has it im not delusional stop being such a mac fanboy and admit the problem exists.Maybe yours doesnt but my imac and alot of other peoples imacs have this problem.

  • @jaynez78 send it back and get a Dell, its that simple.

  • it is funny how people (not you Hilato) talk about colour and dont know anything about it. I am working with colour management in a graphic industry and here is the fact. imac is for multimedia not for reatouching photos, its monitor is quite good but not for proffesionall, so if you gonna use a mac for mvoies and games and net is quite good monitor.

  • @MrBojanmarsetic I totally Agee but I do photo editing with my iMac and it's perfectly fine, I have done retouching for clients and never had any problem with the clients telling anything about the color.

  • I highly doubt it.

  • I highly doubt all the iMacs have a yellow tint but some may have had a yellow tint issue.

  • @hilato

I do it too:), but i have done that on Eye-one calibrated LACie monitor and there are shadows and soft hues that imac and any other monitor below 700 EUR cannot display, that's for sure.

  • somehow my old cinema display 23" is perfect

  • @eugenedae Well if you could see it then return it that's my advice, I could tell you this no screen is going to be perfect this is a new technology and there is a post that I put in the apple discussion, about how LCD are manufacture
