Never heard that intro before, boy that is beautiful. This is a wonderful version, I've only heard one better, and that is by one of Perry's favorite singers, Eddie Fisher.

Listen to the Michael Buble version of this one and you could be listening to Perry himself, whereas Buble usually hypes it up (a la Cry Me A River) on this one he was wise enough to see that any change would be superfluous. Perry had it all wrapped up. Michael Buble is of course one of todays finest performers and I do of course acknowledge that,how many others could follow Mr. Como and be at least comparable to him.

No vocal shtick...no dramatics. Just hearfelt singing that's true to the music and the lyrics. Pure gold! A perfect example of why Perry was my favorite singer.
