she lives.. old red has been sittin untouched for over 10 years and a little hot wiring and a quick ignition change and bang she lit right off...gotta love it. Had this truck over 20 years and sat for a long time when my dad got sick but it will get finished...

  • well mr merc.. i dont know where a big block vs, war comes into place here but.. your data on the bbc is inacurate. there are bbc.. motors available from gm performance parts that make well over 700hp out of box.. As for the the motor in old red, it is a 15 year old motor that was in a 4300lb chevelle that went 11.0 on the motor. and also has 2 units on it good for well over a 1000. and its a 358 sbc.

  • not a bad truck..just thro out that small block chevy and put a ford motor in it then you will have something that doesnt fallow the typical [ fallow the crowd sbc ]..

  • @390merc65 After blowing up four small block fords we put in a real motor.

  • @chrisfawn ooooooooooookkkkkkk..well its good you didnt make over 500hp on stock bottom end big block chevy ...cuzz we both know a stock bottom end bbc cant hold up over 500hp unlike a ford bog block that can go up to 700hp on the stock bottom end
