@DJSexLeopard I'm not one of the fanboy types that "refuses to know the truth" or anything, but I can tell you that DS is not scripted, nor rehearsed. MTV just turned the camera on and let these boys run wild. Only the later series were scripted in terms of where the boys would be going and what they would be doing (and I don't mean the stunts, I mean working at construction sites and so on). Everything was filmed on the fly, reactions were real, pain was real, laughter was real.

My favorite wake-up was like a 10-second segment in the Italy episode in series 3 where Pritchard is sleeping in his room and Dainton hits him on the thigh with the bamboo cane. Pritchard makes this terrible, screaming sound. I almost pissed myself when I saw it!!!
