  • As someone who had never been much of anywhere (outside the US) I admire your wanderlust. I look forward to more of your Viet Nam videos.

  • 5.0 I had the same feeling when I came back from Viet Nam 2 years ago, as did my son.

We will be returning early this coming year. I have been learning to speak Vietnamese.

It's always nice to meet someone else who loves Viet Nam. It's a very special feeling isnt it!

We did not like Ha Noi though, which is strange because everyone else has different feeling about the place.

  • maybe, you were homesick...and you didn't know it?

  • I remember your vlogs of the Indian trip and its aftermath. I'm very glad this trip went much better. I'm very good at getting out for short, more local excursions, but really must get out on a "real trip" again sometime soon.

  • I think it's more or less obligatory to get sick when you go to India. I was only there for 2+ weeks. Thankfully i got sick right at the end & was nearly as bad as you.

I can understand why you stayed though.

I like that way of travelling. It's good to have a companion. But it's also good to be able to do your own thing. Finding somebody who understands & appreciates that is not always easy :)

  • Your perspective on life totally captivates me.

  • Margaret, you are a very brave woman.....or crazy as a loon. One thing is certain...it doesn't really matter which, you are going to do as you damned well please. Not only have you earned that "right", you have practically mastered it.

  • i am so glad you did go to viet nam. i really have enjoyed the videos. i had a completely different view in my minds eye of viet nam. i think it is because of seeing the war on tv every night of my teenage life. the people are so colorful.

  • I'm surprised the damned Ibuprofen didn't

take out your liver. It is quite powerful but the

    side effects are nasty.

I'm glad you got a chance to go and make it a

real place instead of a media biased horror.
