Her voice was a bit like Nancy Sinatra's. Always in tune, and slightly deadpan. If she had been born 10 years earlier, she probably could've had a string of hits in the 60s. By the late 70s, this style of straight-forward crooning was a little out of fashion.

I watched this movie so many times when was a kid because of Kristy and this song..I'd sing it over and over...I couldn't find it and now here it is on YouTube and I am SOOOO happy!! I wish they'd put it on dvd for us devoted fans..this is amazing :)

@chargeratl I just read your post...were you able to find and play this song for your brother? I hope you did, because I know how much music means to me and a lot of other people too. I searched iTunes for this ong and couldn't find it there. I actually just found this tune on YouTube a few days ago, and I cried like a baby when I heard it again. I'm a 50 year old male, totally "a man's man", but hearing this, brought me back to an innocent time in my life, and it felt so good I cried...oh well!

@firefall661 there are several vhs and dvd copies for sale on ebay and amazon. FYI the dvd has never been officially released, therefore, any dvd u buy of this movie is a vhs transfer.
