If ancient peoples had condemned the domestication of the grey wolf there would be no chocolate labs for self-righteous yuppies to fawn over either. Cheetahs have been kept as hunting companions by humans for eons. The care they require means that not everyone can own one. But if this man can do so then I see no harm in it, ideally cheetahs sold as pets should be born in captivity. Captive bred cheetahs constitute a pool that can be drawn upon for the eventual restoration of wild populations.

malnourished?!?! dude r u blind??? this cheetah is actually quite obese for its age..its well fed. ... and btw... cheetahs make EXCELLENT pets...they r not aggressive at all...they do not behave dominantly...a rottweiler dog would be 10 times more dangerous than a cheetah

OMG, People in alot of states it's not against the law to own a cheetah or ANY big cat!! You can buy them online or order on at any exotic pet store... Simple. Cheetahs are the safest out of all wild cats to own. Cheetahs are not fighters they are the ultimate pasivist in the wild because injury to a cheetah is almost a death sentence. Cheetah have lower attack incidents than most domestic dogs!!!

@MegaBoners theres actually between 15000 and 25000 left in the wild and another 1000 left in captivity. Cheetahs are listed as vulnerable on the conservation status, not endangered. Learn your shit before you go spouting out bullshit. This is a prime example of why people just fucking suck
