Road Show is a carnival huckster at work. Stylistically the video is magical and surreal. Dr. Dizzy appears as conjurer hawking his "cure". The Fan Dancers strut and encourage the timid buyer. The film draws from the Commedia dell' Arte tradition with each character wearing a mask.
"Step Right Up" -- buy a bottle and your life will be on the right track. So don't hesitate - supplies are limited. Dr. Dizzy explains three theories about uncertainty. His pendicurical will offer the buyer confidence. No more worries whether a tree falling in the forest makes a sound (without you); Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle (the exact velocity & position of an object are exclusive); and Schroedinger's Cat (a physics thought problem paradox- is a cat in a box alive or dead?) With Dr. Dizzy's Cure get a shortcut to certainty - much easier than hard work.
The artist B. Lynch created the sets, costumes and masks. Known for her theatrical installations, her videos investigate human folly.
