What you have said is exactly what has been happening in my country since when we returned to "democracy" in 1983 after 6 years of a military dictatorship. What it basically happened is that we went from being governed by right-wing totalitarians to being governed by socialist liberal internationalists. Despicable characters that erstwhile were left-wing terrorists that killed many innocents are now free of charges, and are in the goverment. Yeah, our fate is being decided by former terrorists.

Excellent points Iggy, and you are 110% correct. However, sadly human existence, even outside the US has devolved down to the lowest levels possible.

Nowadays if you have any ethics, morals, etc that has proven to be a positive for humanity, is now deemed as evil.

socialism, be it communism, fascism, is now deemed wholesome while flying the American flag that many shed blood for is now seen as terrorist.

however don't lose "real" hope. because that is what they want. keep up the fight

@IggyHazard It's not a easy task, thou, given how idiotic, misinformed and indolent are most people, specially in my country. We are not better than in the "de facto" days, as they are doing the same, but from a democratically elected (if one can call buying votes with welfare a democracy) civilian goverment, although with different methods. There's poverty, crime, death, ideological fanatism, biased justice, revanchism, glorification of weaknesses, no freedom of speech. The profit with the past
