This is my 1930 Model A Ford Coupe that has been chopped 4 inches, channeled 6 inches and runs a 1992 BMW V12. I stripped all the electronics off the engine and it now runs a homemade stainless steel intake with 4 Rochester 2G Carbs, homemade Lakes style headers and two Chevy HEI distributors mounted to each camshaft bank.
On the road with plates tomorrow (4 May 2011)

  • beautiful. what do you think the hardest part of the whole project was??? engine or packaging the whole thing in such a small body???

  • @sincityryder

Actually everything was pretty straight forward. Welded up the entire frame in about two days and that includes the tapper in the front and Z in the rear. I started from scratch because that was actually easier. I guess I spent the most time on the stainless steel intake because that is what I consider the coolest part.

  • @Karolilalu I bought another BMW V12 this week with the Trans ($500). I would encourage more folks to stick these motors in thier rides because they have plenty of power and "in my humble opinion" look bad ass.

  • where are you located here in germany?

  • @shwan86

A placed called Ronneburg. That's very close to Frankfurt am Main.
