@Wheel33 I agree. Eventually though, I always find it becomes about how good hooping FEELS and the effect it has on the very personal space you inhabit. I think that the technical proficiency comes when you learn to let go of all internal and external expectations, and revel in YOUR practice utterly. <3

The dudes with hoops insecurity complex is so true. I thought I'd moved beyond worrying about what people think about me in general, but after starting hooping this summer it bubbled back up to the surface. The cure for me is to remember the loving embrace and encouragement I have received from all the girl hoopers I have met. Incredible.
