  • Very nice features; I am planning on building again in near future and would certainly like this when it comes to storage. Anyone have this type plane on floats. Always had high wing

  • Wow.. This is awesome. I could see fabricating a light aluminum dolly to hold the wingtip up to make it a completely 1 man operation. Hand winch on the trailer with 3 pull out ramps for the wheels to go up on, and youre done.. Looks like aircraft ownership is starting to look somewhat realistic for the average joe, like me.

  • wouldn't it be cool just taxiing around without the wings? lol just imagine the looks on the ATC controllers face

  • That is just awesome.

Now I'm really interested in the plane. Hanger fees are the same as a car payment here and I've got a heated garage that I could easily store this plane in.

    It's all about being affordable.

    Good job Van :)

  • please do not try this in flight

  • Been there, done that. Sucks doesn't it? You put all of the blood/sweat/tears into it and feel like it's yours and BAM, move away and dad keeps it. :( On the plus side you will find the tanks are usually full when you come home to visit.

  • I'm gonna build a Rv-12 for college. Im already building a RV-7 but my dad keps it when I leave.

  • The Sonex has had this for along time.

  • This Aircraft is developing well I like what I see the simplicity & performance seems too be meating & passing all design criteria I still want one in Australia the question now is when?

  • The fuel tank is in the fuselage behind the passengers. The control linkages hook up automatically when you shove the wing into place...those 2 I know.
