  • umm i did 10 of the pushups (2 sec up, 6 sec down) umm last 2 pushups where really fast because my muscles got exhausted and i could not do them slowly anymore but i wanted to finish this exercise.

  • Its not exactly about lowering weights, its about contraction time. You have to contract your muscle for more then 5 seconds to get the most growth. Chest fly with cables is a good example. Bring those cables together and hold them there for 5 seconds while flexing your chest. I started doing these types of workouts a few months ago and have put on about 8-10lbs of muscle.
