GT4 Mission 34 Mercedes Driver's View NTSC version

GT4's Mission 34 shown from the driver's perspective. Again I used Manual shifting and a PS2 Dual Shock Controller. I did about five practice runs before I recorded this video. It's not close to a record, but it is a relatively clean run, so it is good for instructional purposes for those having problems winning. The McLaren Merc is a fine handling car once you get used to it. I wish it had stickier tires, though. As you can see, even without cutting grass, the NTSC Mission 34 is easily winnable. It just takes practice. I always hated to practice this race because it takes so long to start.

I hate how if you mess up you have to wait an additional 60 seconds for the rest of the cars. Soo annoying.

I'm sure the NTSC version has a longer wait than that. More like 2 minutes. I used to get up, walk away and do something else while the start took place. I hated that so much.

what does ntsc mean?

NTSC is just a broadcast standard for the U.S. PS2s sold to the U.S. meet that standard. PAL is a broadcast standard for many other countries in Europe and Asia. I don't know what the letters stand for.

Anyway, I am no where close to catching up to the Gullwing. I better your times until turn 3, the hardest part for me starts after the carousel until the straightway. I wish it had better tires, but then it wouldn't be so much challenging and intimidating, ha aha.

My section times vary from run to run. Sometimes I take more chances, sometimes I get lucky. It's just that overall I can usually keep a certain pace since I'm familiar with the track and car. To me, the tires do have traction because I got used to them.

Am I the only one who has to wait till 2 minutes and 10 seconds to start this wish I could get the 7 seconds off that you have. The PAL version is even luckier they get to start around 1:55 sissy's
