Sitali, the cooling breath, enables you to cool down, to relax, control appetite if you are on a diet and to prevent headache. It is a Pranayama to reduce an access of Pitta, of fire. With the help of this Pranayama you can achieve serenity and calmness of mind. You can practice sitting in front of the computer, at work, at home or anywhere. You can sit on the floor or on a chair. • Hi.. Can this be done to reduce body heat? If so, how many times do I do this? Plz reply. Thank you.

  • @hillarywillson : Yes, reducing body heat is one of the main purposes of this exercise. Usually 10-20 Sitali breaths should be sufficient. You can do this exercise 1-5 times per day.

  • i can't role my tongue like she is doing!!

  • @shah0333 There are two ways you can roll your tongue - horizontally and vertically. Do it the way it works best for you.
