"When I Leave The World Behind" Tag - Barbershop Multitrack

Tag: "When I Leave The World Behind"

I used the performance of the same tag by "barbershopraz" for the pitch, even though they twisted the tag into the "I am" tag. For some reason, I found it easier to sing a semitone above the key written in the tag book written by David Wright and co.

I hereby promise this is the last tag I will use my shitty headset mic to record and "put on bloody Youtube." EVER! I've been real busy with moving into a new place with my partner and re-shuffling my priorities/life, since I'm going to be a father come September. This has been on the back-burner for a while. I knew I would have to conquer it one day, though, so here it is!

No goofing around this time. A few people wanted me to just do an impressive tag sensibly and minus the clowning, and I was getting a bit tired of it all, anyway. It has something to do with the upcoming lifestyle change I mentioned above, I guess. Enjoy!

AH!! I was really surprised to see that the bari and lead traded parts at the end of the tag! (at least that's what I think I saw) That's funny because I learned it that way in my quartet! I'm lead so I sang a bit of the bari while she sang the lead HAHA! We didn't even know that it was already done xD

BTW, awesome stuff dude! lol I might sing that tag once I get all the parts down just for fun :)

Me?! Hell no, man! Haha! Nah, a quartet called "Wheelhouse" decided that the tag to this epic ballad was not awesome enough, so they re-arranged the las page of it and extended the tag. Youtube search "When I Leave The World Behind Wheelhizzy" and you should get a video of Wheelhouse performing the entire ballad.
