What I did was I got some Zombies to follow me, then lured him into the hallway where you can unlock the apprentice look. If you continue, you will see a small bronze skinny doorway. I got on the otherside and the zombies will not follow you through it. After I was done, I went back, and I killed Val with no problem. (Mage)

@nothreat33 id say try hit level 8, but its not nessesciarey.

he isnt that difficult. epon the door behind vals at the top of the stairs. once its open lure all the zombies into the room and you can kill them there. once they are all dead wizard boy will be easy to kill. i was level 7 when i did it.

I tried 16 times, failed them all, than used the power and beat it in one try. In case last comment was confusing

OMG i didnt know u could instant kill bosses. i tried lik 10 times, usuing all these different styles, then i thought i would stcik to skyforge steel sword, so i sneaked up behind him (i thought i might get 2x damage or something) and he just died! 1 hit on full healrth.

@mymanyvids yea yea awesome, at the time my sneak wouldn't have been high enough but ya that's definitely the most resourceful way to deal with "bosses".

If you have the ritual power to raise dead, use it. it helped me beat it after about 16 tries. Also im only level 6 so it is possible just keep ur distance until u kill all undead

@codyw724 yea your right I'd say you almost have to have it, I forgot that I used it before the fight by accident but I had a staff that raises the dead anyways.

@tontsa911 yea try to level up once more and use some potions before the fight and try to have a companion with you too.
