A little taste of the Delta, even if you live in Sudbury.
You could buy a spice rub like this ready-made at the grocery store... but why would you? This is so easy, and you can make changes to suit your taste. Plus you'll now have a signature spice rub, making you the envy of all the 'Grill Meisters' on your street.
You can easily scale this up, and keep it in an airtight container for 3 months.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp kosher (coarse) salt
1 tbsp paprika (sweet, but you could use hot)
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp hot mustard powder
1/2 tbsp ground black pepper
1/2 tbsp ground white pepper
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp dry onion flakes
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp dry oregano
1/2 tsp dry thyme
1/2 tsp dry sage
1/2 tsp ground coriander
Method:
Measure all ingredients into an airtight container and shake to mix.
Great rub. I would like to sahre mine. Take a look on mustgrill
