This is a true story about a girl who claims she is a Princess from another country but is she really.....

one more tiny detail to think about, this girl made up a language that she spoke everyday to others and had to remember the same words for the things she was saying. that to me is a feat in of it's self. It is written that she had a wonderful memory to remember things so quickly and pop them out at a whim if need be all she had to do was sit back and learn as they spoke around her thinking she couldn't understand a word they were saying. I'm impressed by this woman.

@Hochichin This true story has always been one of my favourites. Princess Caraboo was very clever and to fool everyone (well nearly everyone) was/is incredible= )

@MagicJems She was very clever indeed :). And if she had been able to get on that ship when she planned too they wouldn't have ever known about her. Well, maybe not as fast as they did, it was the poking around that they did, that got her caught. The thing is and if you go and read about her, she was even famous for it in America as well and all the way up until her death at the ripe ole age of 76. She definitely made a huge name for her self and shes still popular even to this day. :)

wonderful movie, well worth the watch and the read about this woman's life as well. Just google it and you will be amazed at everything she did and how people back then took in strangers without a second thought. Of course doing that these days will cost you your life in some cases. It's amazing how times have definitely changed since back in the 1800's.
