  • Only Elizabeth Taylor could pull off a stone of that size!

  • Wow. I´va asked for this video a million of times just to see Elizabeth Taylor, who is stunning. No dout she was picked up Best Dressed that night. This is a presentation she didn´t screw, as I read. Even when she makes a mistake, she´s herself and it turns out wonderful. Thank you.

  • I wish the Academy had the balls to pick something controversial (for 1969) these days.

  • @jwelch5742 What made it X-rated? Were there explicit scences?

  • @maxfreiermuth I didn't even notice the stone

  • Why do they not release these classic oscars sows on DVD's to buy?

    That will be great.

  • if that isn't the most gorgeous creature presenting this...

  • Midnight Cowboy was the first and only X-rated film to win an Academy Award for Best Picture.

  • Elizabeth was stunning as always - this was back in the day when the "stars" wouldn't think of showing themselves in public without looking perfectly chic! Today, the celebrities don their flip-flops and tee-shirts. Sorry, but the "glamour" of yester-year is now a faded memory. Thanks Elizabeth - you truly were the "last star!."

  • The introduction she gave was so intelligent and refined, so unlike the tripe we get at awards show now. I guess the producers these days think the audience is too stupid to process complex thoughts.

  • she had violet eyes...wow........rare genius......i love too........special ppl to be famous

  • Remember when Oscar had guts?
