@WeBeClubbingChicago I agree. But if you look at the play before, you can see that the pass from the baseline was clearly out of bounds. His foot is a good three inches out of bounds, in fact. In addition, it looks like it was also a double dribble (you can see that the ball gets caught up on his hip). On balance, one cheap basket deserves another.

@WeBeClubbingChicago that's just too bad..Iowa can't even hang in a basketball game with Illinois anymore..Last year the greatest student section in the nation, the one and only Orange Krush, had more students at Iowa's arena than Iowa did. We're going to royally Krush them again this year..looking forward to it.

gotta play devil's advocate here... but, if you time the moment he touches the ball to when he fully releases the ball, its more than 1.5 seconds. good shot shouldn't of counted.

GO ANDY!!! He was a great basketball player. I loved watching him play. I was able to hit a few games in Champaign and then some more up in Minneapolis when they played the Gophers.

Andy and I are from the same town! He's the all time leading scorer at Jacksonville HS (IL)I played against him a time or 2 he's really slow.
