It's a little hard for me to believe anyone still thinks dumb thoughts like that anymore. Irish music belongs to the entire world, as do all folk traditions. The tunes have existed since before alphabets, and travel around the world like viruses, mutating in the minds of every different Adamic tribe's particular way of hearing music. It always gives me great pleasure to hear a different tribe's take on a tune.
