Here We Go Again Chapter 15

Carli's P.O.V.
Minus that incident at the restaurant with Massi the rest of the week went by pretty smoothly. Nick and I didn't fight at all for the last couple days and my band loved the song I wrote for my first single. I sent them the acoustic track that Will and I laid down and Josh, my lead guitarist, and Taylor, my rhythm guitarist, are working on the rest of the music so we can play it for KS and the Label when Nick and I get back to Dallas.
"Hey Carli have you seen my blue gui..." Nick broke off as he walked into the room we were sharing to find me messing around on his blue guitar.
" Aunt Faith already packed mine and I was bored." Nick laughed and came to sit by me on the bed.
"So what are you playing?" I shrugged and started to play one of Taylor swift's songs.
"Picture to burn really?" I laughed.
"hey I can't help that the girl has no love songs... ooo wait wait..." I laughed and got up.
"what are you doing?" Nick asked me as I grabbed a thumb pick off the dresser.
"come here!" I Grabbed Nick's hand and pulled him to the kitchen where the family was sitting.
"OoO Carli are you going to play us a song?" Grace asked? Nick jumped a little when Abby came to stand next to us. I laughed to myself, he didn't believe me when I said the girls were BIG fans!
"yes I am! Now everyone to the living room." Nick gave me a weird look but followed me out to the living room. I pulled him down on to the coffee table to sit next to me, so we were both facing the family, who all sat on the couch. I handed nick his blue guitar and grabbed one of uncle Tim's from its place in the corner. I walked back to Nick and handed him the guitar.
"What? I'm playing too?" I just nodded and handed him a pick.
"Wait why can't I play my own guitar?"
"Cause I like the blue one duh." Uncle Tim laughed as the girls bounced with excitement.
"Alright... well you guys have been great to Me Nick and Papa J. I'm really glad I got to come see everyone so to thank ya'll I wanna play you two songs." I leaned over and whispered the song titles to Nick. He looked at me
"Really Lisey? Seriously you're going to make me play those songs?" I giggled.
"Yes... I'll sing the first one,"
"But what about the second one? I cant do that all by myself." I looked at him then at my cousins on the couch.
"Nick I doubt you'll have trouble there, and besides I'll sing Joe's part." The girls squealed with excitement. Nick let out a defeated sigh.
"Fine." I told nick the basic chords to the song and we both started strumming. Uncle Tim rolled his eyes and aunt Faith giggled. Will Shook his head at the girls and I just bounced up and down and started singing with us, when we got to the chorus.

I burst into a fit of laughter after the first chorus and couldn't keep playing. By this point the whole family was laughing.
"I'm sorry Uncle Tim, Nick and I were just saying how Taylor really doesn't have any love songs then this one popped into my head." He just laughed at me. I know when they were on tour together he had to hear this song every night, because aunt faith and Uncle Tim would bring her out on stage just to sing it.
"whats next whats next?" the girls said in unison. I just laughed.
"alright alright, now Nick's a little shy girls, I think we're gonna need your help singing this one.. ya'll know lovebug right?" both girls nodded so fast I thought they're heads would come off.
"you know I think I'd feel better if I had some support standing right next to me. What do you say girls?" Aunt Faith put her hands over her heart as abby and Grace got up to stand next to Nick, I smiled at him. We started playing the song and by the end of the song the whole family was singing. After the song was over, Aunt Faith and Uncle Tim got up and hugged both of us.
"dang it Aunt Faith, stop it! No crying!" Aunt Faith laughed and wiped her eyes.
"I'm sorry honey. I'm just so proud of you. And I know your parents are less than supportive. I just want you to know I love you and you can always call when your home sick... even though you don't live here anymore." I smiled sadly and Hugged her tightly.
"I love you aunt Faith!" Nick rubbed my back as I went to stand next to him.
"I talked to my dad last night and we're playing here in Nashville towards the end of August, We'd Love it if you all could go." I smiled up at him as abby and Grace squealed with excitement. Mike walked into the house.
"hey nick, Carli? The car's here." Nick thanked him and pickup our bags and headed out, after one more smile at the family I followed him.
