This song never seems to fail to be played whenever I'm sitting around the fire at a Ren Faire with fellow smiths and metalworkers.. It's an amazing song!
My Dad had a welding and Machine Shop. He could break C-T Pliers by squeezing the handles, he and his brothers cut and split oak for $2 a wagon load in the 30's. It took the 3 of them a day to do it. He was honest, fair and forgiving. When I hear this song I think of him nearly 20 years after he died. Thank You Charlie Zahm
