@walkermydawg I was there. Those cheers were sincere, because we didn't know he was coming until he was announced. I was cheering vigorously, and I am not ignorant. I am not a misinformed sheep. Rather, I hold a different opinion then yours. This man was an amazing Commander in Chief, and I am glad that served under him, though I may disagree with his politics.

If he has to make a surprise visit, he can't very well claim we were kicking ass. Having to slink in under cover of night makes it a booty call.
If the cheers were a direct order and not sincere, these troops are good actors. If they are sincere, these poor people are ignorant, terribly misinformed sheep. I place no blame on the latter because tax dollars paid for war propaganda and fake news conferences.

every one supported bush and still support the war in irak and afganistan... you should feel shameful of what you've done to innocent poeple, you should feel shame for killing children, women, destroying there land and there life.. you are all brainwashed by he media and the horrible lies, shame shame shame and you will be all in the bin of history..

Notice he almost never talks about himself or uses the word "I", unless he's saying "Thank you". He is honest and tells them how he truly feels and how America feels. (no teleprompter) These are the qualities of a leader as opposed to the characteristics of campaigner with no moral compass other than the one in his head that says over and over "its all about me, me, me and when its over, its still me. What an embarrassment obama is. Seeking to be liked rather than respected gets neither.
