Codiac RCMP, NB Ambulance & Moncton Fire Department responded to a Pedestrian hit by a vehicle around 11:35am this morning at the corner of Vaughan Harvey Blvd & St. George Blvd. The Man and the Baby were alright, but the Woman was laying on the ground. Paramedics got her onto the stretcher and moved into a parking lot then transported the woman to hospital with left arm pain. The roads were dry at the time of the accident . Not the first time I have seen pedestrians being hit by vehicles at this dangerous intersection.
Video aired on 2Bon'heures with Marie-Emma Parenteau Rogers TV.

  • this was actually my wife that was hit....the problem i have other than my wife getting hit is that i asked the man if he saw my wife and he said NO......how the F**Kdidnt you her crossing?????? Oh thats right you were looking the other way......there was no apology or anything from the man......something needs done involving this place becasue it seems that theres always some kind of accident.thanks though for showing this but my wife was slightly embarassed lol lol

  • Really great to hear from You and your Sister on this accident. Glad everyone was ok but its even better to hear what happened and how the driver acted, no sorry unreal !!!! YOUR RIGHT this intersection is Crazy I was hit there over 20 years ago and then hit again in 05 myself and have seen many accidents there and at least 3 involving vehicles VS pedestrians!! Tell your Wife not to be embarrassed and that she will have something to show your Child in the future!

  • Righturning driver was looking to his left to see if oncoming traffic?

Pedestrians must be aware of this and stay out of the way of such turning vehicles.

If only a bump, I would have refused transporto a hospital.

  • but at the same time pedestrians esp on main st need to learn how to watch for cars and b attentive...(not directed towards the woman hit or her family

  • That's my sister, really glad it didn't turn out as bad as it could have!!

I'm super p*ssed that the guy didn't have the decency to say sorry...I mean, i know he was probably in shock, but show some respect!!! You're lucky it wasn't me you hit, I'm not as kind as her... lol.

AND You're DAMN lucky it wasn't the baby you hit...

I wish people would learn to pay attention and slow down.. Too many people are in a hurry to get no where quick...

I love your stuff Newschaser, always entertaining

  • @Sinbad382001 but he should have at least asked if she was ok, but instead, he was f'n rude about it. He COULD say sorry for hitting her, he didn't have to say he wasn't paying attention. It's common curtesy..

  • The man likely knew that by saying sorry, in the eyes of the law, you are admitting fault.

  • this sux the woman involved in this is my sister in law the man pushing the stroller is my brother the driver shulda seen them hw culd he miss them at least she is ok but still very bad for the driver not to see them

  • Being a pedestrian in this city can be ultra brutal at times. An elderly lady nearly hit me tonight at the corner of Killiam and Mnt because she didn't make her right turn UNTIL the right turn advance was off and the walk light for me was on. Thankfully I was watching, or I'd have been a pancake. The guy driving behind her looked more irate at her display than even I was!
