@alicechew You need to dry it out as much as possible, try to leave the bonnet open in the sun for a day or two, and the doors to try to get rid of the smell. The lights on the dash will not go away until they have been reset, you probably need to take it somewhere for that. The oxygen sensor and some other sensor on mine are currently stuffed, hopefully they fix themselves, but I'm taking it to a garage anyway as I only know a little about this stuff. GL

@clayman1982 Yeah I think I lasted about 60 seconds in that water, truly unreal. Mine stinks also and I can hear water splashing around somewhere inside! I was able to drive mine away from the scene fortunately, but every now and then different lights pop up on my dash and I can't tell if it's a genuine problem or if it's just confused, not quite sure what to do with it.

@alicechew - Nope, wasn't going to try and start it just take the hand brake off and push it, but the water was too cold, mostly melted hail. Thanksfully it didnt move too far so it didnt hit anything. It smells like garbage even after a steam clean and electrics are still kinda stuffed, but she's working again :)

Did you manage to move it? Surely wouldn't have started underwater...
Same happened to my car, it floated into the tree I was parked next to :(

Its wasn't that deep in the middle but I wouldnt have drivin through it. Dozens of people did as most people that live round here know nothing about cars and can't drive to save themselves.
My lil honda is still kicking :)
