My sister used to manage an apartment complex near downtown San Diego. I stayed there one night and was up pretty early and walking to the store to get a cup of coffee when this guy who looked EXACTLY like Eddie Vedder went walking by me wearing an army jacket. He looked homeless and like someone living on the street. Months later I read an article where Eddie said that he'd lived in his car in downtown San Diego for a period of time to get focused for the 'VS' recordings.....hmm.
